Dr. Perry H. Trester , D.M.D., F.R.C.D.(C), F.A.D.S.A., F.I.C.D., F.A.C.D.
Dr. Perry H. Trester has a long standing career as a leader in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial
Surgery. He graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1962 and completed his specialty post-graduate
training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the New York University and the Albert Einstein College of
Medicine at Lincoln Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Trester has been on staff at the Faculty of Dentistry of University of BC since 1968 and has been
head of the division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Vancouver Hospital from July 1990 until June 30,
2005.
Dr. Trester has received Fellowships from the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, American Dental
Society of Anesthesiology, American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchaud
Academy, International Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
His recent honours from the Canadian Dental Association (Certificate of Merit), College of Dental
Surgeons of BC (Distinguished Service Award), Pierre Fauchard Academy (International Man of the Year) and the
British Columbia Dental Association (Honorary Membership) attest to his expertise in Oral & Maxillofacial
Surgery.
Dr. Trester has expanded his scope of practice as a Certified Specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial
Surgery to include the cosmetic treatment of facial aging. His skill at administering Botox, Restylane/Perlane,
ArteSense and Juvederm has left many women and men with younger happier faces.
Dr. Trester practices mainly in the Vancouver and North Vancouver offices of Drs. Trester, Marks &
David, Oral Surgery Clinics.
Dr. Eugene Marks, D.M.D., F.R.C.D. (C)
Dr. E. Marks graduated from the University of Manitoba and completed his post graduate training in
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at New York University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Lincoln
Hospital) in New York City.
Dr. Marks has received fellowships from the Royal College of Dentists, the International Association
of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the College of Dental
Surgeons of B.C.
Dr. Marks was on staff in the Oral Surgery Department at UBC as both a clinical instructor and
lecturer. He is currently the Head of the Dental Department at Lions Gate Hospital. Dr. Marks has provided
many continuing education lectures to both dentists and physicians in the Province of B.C.
Dr. Marks practices a broad scope of Oral Surgery mainly in the North Vancouver and Port Coquitlam
offices of Drs. Trester, Marks and David, Oral Surgery Clinics.
Dr. H. Tony David, D.M.D., M.S.
Dr. H. Tony David is a 1975 graduate of Washington University of St. Louis. He completed his
residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 1979 at Sinai Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. David has authored and presented several published reports and case studies in the field of
mandibular lesions, jaw fractures, nerve preservation and dental implants.
Dr. David is an expert in the biology, diagnosis and surgical treatment of Oral Lesions, including
cancerous and benign manifestations. He is also skilled in the treatment of Cleft Palate and Lip
manifestations, as well as the non-surgical cosmetic treatment of facial aging.
Since 1981, Dr. David has been the mentor of a well-attended Oral Surgery Study Club in the lower
mainland for which continued education credits are approved. He was a Clinical Assistant Professor at the
University of British Columbia and continues to practice his expertise in several hospitals in the lower
mainland.

Dr. Ali M. M. Sadeghi, D.M.D., M.D., F.R.C.D. (C)
Dr. Ali Sadeghi is a native of North Vancouver, BC, where he graduated from Carson Graham Secondary
School. He earned his Dental Doctorate in 2000 from the University of British Columbia, School of Dental
Medicine, having graduated with the Dean's List Honours. He completed a year of General Practice Residency at
Saint Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York in 2001, followed by a six year Oral Maxillofacial Residency at
the prestigious Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City from 2002 - 2008, where he conjointly completed a
year of internship in General Surgery and also received his Medical Degree.
Ali practices the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery and has lectured nationally in the
United States on the treatment of dentofacial deformities, maxillofacial trauma, head and neck infections and
advanced implantology.
After almost 10 years of living and working in New York, Ali is excited to return home to North
Vancouver with his wife Neda, an endodontist, and his 10 month old son Ryan, to continue his OMFS career with
Drs. Trester, Marks & David. He enjoys playing tennis, skiing in Whistler and Blackcomb, fishing in
Horseshoe Bay and hiking the beautiful trails of Vancouver Island.
Ali is now certified in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in BC and is a Fellow of the Royal College
of Dentists of Canada in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
